Colin Crouch Cup

Harrow Chess Club’s youngest member Apollo Premadasa landing a perfect high five on Magnus Carlsen at the London Chess Classic. Apollo was on stage at Olympia to make the ceremonial first move for the world champion’s opponent, Levon Aronian, currently world number six. This was the final day of the 2019 Grand Chess Tour, with the young Chinese sensation Ding Liren emerging as this year’s winner.

Kagik Asryan is the 2019 recipient of the Colin Crouch Cup. The trophy is awarded annually by the Harrow Chess Club committee to a junior member in recognition of special commitment and progress. This season Kagik participated in the club championship and was a regular team player for the Harrow Junior squad.
